Job Description

Immediate need for a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Engineer with expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to support our water, wastewater, and land development projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with InfoWorks ICM and OpenFlows (WaterGEMS) platforms, and a strong background in developing and analyzing models for water distribution, stormwater, and wastewater systems
Willing to consider Jr Candidates who have extensive Modeling Simulation experience (2+ years) and an ABET Degree
EIT/PE are desired but not required

Daya to Day - Responsibilities

    • Develop, calibrate, and maintain hydraulic and hydrologic models using InfoWorks ICM and OpenFlows (WaterGEMS) platforms.
    • Perform modeling and simulation of water distribution systems, stormwater drainage networks, and wastewater collection systems.
    • Conduct water flow and hydraulic analysis for land development, urban drainage, and utility infrastructure projects.
    • Analyze rainfall, water gauges, and other hydrologic data to support accurate model development.
    • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations of modeling results and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with civil engineers, planners, and project managers to integrate modeling results into design and planning efforts.
    • Provide technical support during project planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.
    • Stay current with advancements in hydraulic modeling software, simulation methodologies, and industry best practices.

Skills (Must Have)

    • 3+ years of experience in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and simulation.
    • Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and OpenFlows (WaterGEMS); experience with related platforms (e.g., SewerGEMS, StormCAD, or Civil3D hydrology tools)
    • Strong knowledge of land development projects, water distribution, stormwater drainage, and wastewater collection systems
    • Experience with GIS-based tools for data integration and model development
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and permitting processes
    • Experience working on large-scale municipal or land development projects
