Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys in civil litigation and contract-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil law and trial procedures, as well as hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and legal documents. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, including case preparation, discovery, and trial.
- Draft, review, and organize contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and compile findings to support case strategies and filings.
- Manage and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial binders.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors.
- Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts (both electronically and in-person).
- Track case deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to ensure timely submissions.
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing evidence, witness lists, and courtroom exhibits.
- Review and summarize depositions, discovery responses, and other key documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with firm and court policies.
$60,000 - $75,000 a year
