Class A OTR Solo Driver
Entire State, IL
POSITION DETAILS
- Pay/salary information: Detention Pay at $12.50 per hour after the second hour; Layover/Breakdown Pay at $100 per day
- Home time details: Every 2 Weeks/Flexible home time policy based on drivers schedule
- Equipment type: 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias or Kenworths
- Freight type: 100% no-touch freight, with 50-60% drop & hook and 40-50% live unload
- Route/lane information: Nationwide OTR covering all 48 states, primarily east of I-35
- Mileage average: Drivers typically run around 2,000 miles per week; top performers run between 2,300-3,000+ miles per week
- No forced NYC dispatch: Drivers are not required to enter NYC or its five boroughs
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience requirements: Previous driving experience preferred
- License requirements: Valid CDL-A required
- Age requirements: Must be at least 21 years old
- Physical requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with driving and freight handling
- Background/MVR requirements: Clean driving record and background check required
