Job Description
Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic who is knowledgeable & has experience with Classic , Antique and Museum Cars and/or carbureted engines. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities:- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to standards- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and schematics- Communicate directly with Fleet Manager and/or Owner on problems & how to fix them- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance- Repair or replace faulty parts and components- Perform carbureted engine repairs as needed- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs- Keep accurate records of all services performed
Requirements:- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic w/ Classic Car experience- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and reading schematics- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a relaxed environment- Excellent problem-solving skills and able to articulate a plan of action- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship- Excellent communication skills
