Clearing Analyst

Purpose of the Role

Support the BBE US Business By Managing cleared financial products

Accountabilities/Key Result Areas

• Trade Capture & Clearing

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of futures and options trades to clearinghouses (NYMEX, CME, ICE, etc.).

• Monitor trade status and resolve unmatched or failed trades with brokers, exchanges, and internal teams.

• Margin & Collateral Management

• Monitor daily margin requirements and collateral postings with clearinghouses.

• Coordinate with Treasury and Risk teams to ensure adequate liquidity coverage.

• Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform daily reconciliations of exchange clearing accounts, variation margin, and initial margin movements.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal systems, brokers, and clearinghouses.

• Prepare and deliver daily/weekly/monthly clearing reports to management.

• Risk & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies for exchange-traded products.

• Support audits and regulatory inquiries by providing timely and accurate information.

• Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline clearing processes, enhance controls, and leverage automation.

• Partner with Technology, Middle Office, and Risk to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Skills and experience

Essential:

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Good understanding of exchange traded derivatives products.

Preferable:

• Worked with Symphony or Right Angle ETRM.
• Experience working with SQL or other coding languages.
• Knowledge of regulatory risk requirements.
