Clinical Coordinator Nursing - Emergency Room Department - Full Time

Assists the ED unit manager to achieve the mission, vision, values, and goals of IRMC and the emergency department. Promotes and adheres to the IRMC core values of ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) and G.R.E.A.T. (greet/respond/explain/ask/thank) customer standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role you will be:

• Facilitating practice changes of frontline staff to support targeted strategic goals and initiatives such as ED throughput, CMS measure compliance, documentation improvements, and patient satisfaction.
• Assisting the unit manager with investigation and follow-up for patient complaints.
• Monitoring and coaching frontline staff compliance with established practices and protocols.
• Assuring that standards of care are being met in accordance with professional standards and regulatory agencies.
• Assisting with development and review of policies and procedures.
• Participating with hiring, onboarding, staff development, and performance evaluations.
• Helping coordinate day to day emergency department operations.
• Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
• Managing multiple projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• EDUCATION: BSN preferred

• EXPERIENCE:

• 3 or more years experience as professional nurse

• Charge nurse experience preferred

• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.

Shifts:

• Evenings/Nights mainly
