Job Description

About the Position

The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological evaluations and consultation. Additionally, the Clinical Psychologist will provide individual, family or group psychotherapy, and collaborate with the behavioral health team to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.

This is an on-site position assigned to the Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. A thorough government background check will be required.

About the Project

A multi-site clinical research study, aiming to evaluate the effectiveness of two approaches to Combined Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CCBT) [in-person and telemedicine-based (TCBT)] for individuals experiencing post-traumatic headache. The study will compare both interventions to treatment as usual (TAU) across seven geographically diverse sites. If either CCBT or TCBT demonstrates superiority to TAU, the study will assess whether TCBT is non-inferior to in-person CCBT. A final aim will examine how treatment outcomes vary based on site, health system, and individual patient characteristics.
