Job Summary

Social Worker Opportunity at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital NetworkSpaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Network, ranked 2nd in the nation and a global leader in rehabilitation treatment and research, is seeking a passionate and skilled Social Worker to join our dynamic outpatient interdisciplinary teams.Position OverviewAs a Social Worker at Spaulding, you will provide direct care to patients and their families through individual and group sessions, promoting emotional, social, and physical well-being. You will collaborate with a seasoned team of occupational therapists, physical therapists, massage therapists, and fellow social workers to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services.Our innovative, cognitive-behaviorally oriented programs include the Functional Restoration Program for Pain Management—one of its kind in New England. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work with experienced professionals in a Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital, with access to excellent clinical supervision and professional development.

One of the below licensures REQUIRED:Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker [LICSW - State License]

Licensed Mental Health Counselor [LMHC - State License]ExperienceClinical social work experience 5-7 years requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office preferred).
  • Strong desire to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Preferred:

  • Experience working with a diverse patient population.
  • Experience with chronic pain disorders.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute as a team member.
  • Proactive problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • High level of service delivery with initiative and adaptability.
  • Attention to detail.

    - Exemplifies expert depth of specialized clinical diagnoses and interventions.- Demonstrates expert clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Acts as role model; mentors other staff on this skill.- Demonstrates advanced utilization of clinical skills and interventions and consistently contributes to training and education of staff. Acts as a role model for others, mentoring and training staff in skills.- Leads or actively participates in clinical practice inquiries, teaching, projects, or research demonstrating expertise and depth of knowledge of social work practice and skills.- May participate in the recruitment, onboarding and retention processes.- Completed LICSW/LMHC/LMFT requirements.- Leads department/service initiatives.- Uses data to define baseline issues and measure progress.
