Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical oversight to the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic in the Valley Native Primary Care Center. This clinic focus on approaches that are trauma informed, systems based, and person-centered. We serve child, adolescents, and adults and provide individual psychotherapy, medication management, group therapy, and couples therapy based on customer needs and clinical skill set. Clinicians work with a wide variety of diagnoses and symptoms, so versatility in addressing a broad range of presenting problems is promoted. Our clinicians are a part of a multidisciplinary team working with providers both in our clinic and throughout our system of care.
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Meet one of the following:
- Master's in Behavioral Health field including; Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- Current Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurse Credentialing Center (NP).
Current Alaska Clinical Licensure in designated field.
Three (3) years of clinical experience post licensure in a multidisciplinary environment; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Clinician II at SCF.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.

You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment. Jobs designated as a Health Care Personnel (HCP) position, requires that you have documentation that you have completed the following immunizations prior to your first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap (Tetanus- Diphtheria- Pertussis), and COVID-19 vaccination is required.
