We are currently looking for a CNC Operator to join our team at our Boise, ID location.Headquartered in Sacramento, CA, Interstate Advanced Materials is a family-owned company with more than 170 team members across seven states. We’re an environmentally conscious, award-winning organization known for solving customer challenges through innovation, dedication, and teamwork.As a CNC Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality plastic fabrication and distribution work.   • Set up and operate CNC routers and other equipment, including saws, drills, and compressors
  • Load/unload materials, change tools, and start machine programs as needed
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
  • Follow setup instructions and quality control procedures to ensure precision and accuracy
  • Inspect parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools
  • Assist with finishing tasks like deburring and preparing parts for final processing
  • Read and interpret blueprints and job instructions
  • Communicate clearly with team members and support overall production goals
  • Provide feedback to improve efficiency, quality, and material usage
  • Take on other duties as needed to support the team
Requirements:
  • Prior CNC experience is a plus, but not required—we’re willing to train the right person
  • Comfortable using hand tools, warehouse equipment, and measuring instruments
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
  • Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, solid communication skills, and a team-player mindset
  • Forklift experience is a bonus
