HVAC Service Technician I (Entry-Level)

Location: Charleston, Orangeburg, Columbia, SCReports To: Service Manager

Overview:

Jennings Mechanical is seeking an entry-level HVAC Service Technician with 1-3 years of experience eager to grow in the trade. This position is ideal for someone who has completed technical training or has limited field experience and is ready to learn from seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC systems
Support senior technicians during service calls and installations
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Perform preventive maintenance, filter changes, and basic system inspections
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Deliver excellent customer service and represent Jennings Mechanical with professionalism

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; HVAC trade school or technical certification preferred
1-3 years of HVAC experience
EPA Section 608 certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
