Job Description
Overview:
Jennings Mechanical is hiring a skilled HVAC Service Technician with proven experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems. The ideal candidate is confident working independently in the field and can manage a variety of service calls efficiently and professionally.Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment to include: DX systems, chilled water systems, hot water systems, hydronic components, pumps, VFDs, and more
- Perform preventive maintenance and system performance checks
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system issues and solutions
- Complete detailed service tickets and documentation
- Mentor entry-level technicians when assigned
- Follow safety and operational procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of HVAC service experience
- EPA Section 608 Certification required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system components and control systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
