About UsQuality Control Consultants (QCC) is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to ensuring that building products meet the highest levels of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. We provide third-party auditing and inspection services to verify that manufacturers maintain consistent product standards and adhere to applicable codes and specifications.
We are currently seeking a Compliance Field Inspector to conduct product audits and facility inspections across the United States. This position focuses on building products as part of evaluation, listing, and continuous compliance programs. (Note: These inspections are not related to construction site work or plumbing product certifications.)
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and conduct periodic compliance audits and inspections at manufacturing and storage facilities.
Verify that products and production processes meet quality assurance requirements.
Perform product sampling and testing verification in accordance with QCC procedures.
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
Provide professional customer support and maintain positive client relationships.
Travel nationally to perform on-site audits and inspections.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in construction, field inspection, or a related technical field.
Preferred experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, product compliance, or building codes and standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural plans, codes, and technical documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability and willingness to travel domestically (and occasionally internationally).
