CDM Smith is seeking a motivated Construction Intern to join our Central Florida team for Summer 2026. This position provides hands-on experience on major heavy civil water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and large-diameter pipeline work.
The intern will work closely with a team of construction managers, engineers, and commissioning specialists to support both field and office operations. This role will provide exposure to civil, mechanical, electrical, automation, and commissioning processes involved in delivering complex public infrastructure projects.

Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelors or a Master's in Construction Management or a related discipline is required. Construction experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Students majoring in Engineering are encouraged to apply!
We are looking for candidates who are interested in Process Engineering, Heavy Civil Construction, Automation, Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, and Commissioning
Willingness to work in both field and office settings and travel locally within Central Florida.
