Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent with strong tilt-up construction experience to lead projects in the Oakland area. This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans, schedules, and quality expectations. Candidates can live in Oakland or nearby surrounding areas and must be able to commute to project sites daily.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee all field operations for commercial and industrial projects, with a focus on tilt-up construction

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow

• Maintain and drive project schedules, proactively addressing any delays

• Ensure all work meets Uprite’s quality standards and complies with plans, specifications, and building codes

• Promote a strong safety culture, enforcing company and OSHA safety policies

• Lead daily and weekly site meetings with field teams and project managers

• Monitor project costs and assist with budget control

• Prepare and submit daily reports, progress photos, and documentation as required

• Serve as the primary point of contact on the jobsite for clients and stakeholders

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 5+ years of superintendent or foreman experience in commercial construction

• Proven experience managing tilt-up projects from start to finish

• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry best practices

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Tech-savvy and comfortable with construction management software and reporting tools

• Commitment to safety and quality

• Must be located in Oakland or a nearby surrounding area with reliable transportation to project sites
