We are an equal opportunity employer including veterans and people with disabilities.A Brief OverviewThe Construction Supervisor will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring efficient execution, strict adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with budgetary constraints. Effective coordination with internal teams and external contractors to guarantee timely project completion and seamless integration of the new infrastructure into our network is required. This position requires strong leadership abilities, extensive construction management experience, and a thorough understanding of fiber optic technology and installation practices.What you will do
  • Oversee the planning and execution of fiber optic new build construction projects, maintaining compliance with   
  • specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage external contractors, offering guidance and supervision to ensure efficient and high-quality completion   
  • of construction tasks.
  • Handle procurement, inventory management, and distribution of construction materials, ensuring their     
  • suitability and quality.
  • Lead the issuance and assessment of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, negotiating contracts with   
  • chosen vendors to secure favorable terms.
  • Direct fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal   
  • network performance.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets closely, implementing necessary adjustments to keep projects on track   
  • and within budgetary constraints.
  • Implement rigorous quality assurance measures, conducting regular inspections and audits to uphold the   
  • highest standards of workmanship and compliance.

  • of construction tasks.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration Preferred
  • Master's Degree Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Security Preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties     
  • of the job
  • 10+ years Experience in large scale internet service network management, and network architecture,     
  • engineering and design Required
  • 1-3 years Supervisor/management experience Required
  • Innovative and strategic thinker and decision maker.
  • Knowledge of industry trends related to information systems and related technology, architectures, and     
  • topologies.
  • Problem solving and execution skills in driving transformation and change.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced computer skills that apply a high degree of working knowledge of telecommunication networking   
  • operations and provisions.
  • Expert knowledge of network architecture and design, including the ability to develop and implement designs   
  • that meet business requirements.• Expert communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.• Strong leadership with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Ability to effectively coach others to accomplish assignments and direct groups of individuals to achieve consensus.Our people are passionate about what they do, the product they sell, and the customers they serve.
