REHABILITATIONS AND PROGRAMS

The Contract Manager at the Montana Department of Corrections plays a crucial role in overseeing community corrections contracts for the Community Corrections Facilities & Programs Bureau. They ensure contractual compliance, coordinate project initiatives, and manage amendments to contracts as business needs evolve. By utilizing strong communication skills and an in-depth understanding of department policies and state regulations, the Contract Manager monitors facility compliance, oversees quality assurance processes, and resolves issues that arise between facilities, offenders, and their families. This role also plays a key role in managing offender placement and length of stay while collaborating with various divisions within the department. The Contract Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of contracts for community corrections facilities, thereby contributing to the department's commitment to public safety and offender welfare. This role demands a strong understanding of contractual compliance, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required.
Two years of experience in human services.
