Job Description
The Creative Director leads and executes the creative vision for legal, medical, and financial brands. This role partners with stakeholders, marketing, content and development to shape digital brand experiences that elevate trust, and engage audiences.
The ideal candidate blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution while ensuring web assets are human-centered and high-performing.
Role Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design process by scoping project requirements, drafting initial concepts, designing high-fidelity layouts, and executing all day-to-day creative tasks.
- Translate complex subjects into clear, intuitive, and trusted user experiences from UX/UI to compelling messaging.
- Strategize, design and execute web layouts, UI components, and interactive features in Figma and modern design platforms working collaboratively with marketing, content and developers.
- Develop actionable web design systems and digital brand guidelines to ensure consistency, accessibility, and creative flexibility across sites and campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and technical teams to translate business objectives and complex requirements into measurable, user-centered web experiences.
- Prepare dev-ready design files and rigorously QA digital deliverables post-handoff.
- Utilize analytics and behavioral tracking (GA4, Clarity, Mixpanel, Tableau) to quantify impact and refine creative outputs for continuous improvement.
- Heavy focus on designing and optimizing user experiences with a strong emphasis on conversion rate optimization (CRO) to ensure designs not only look great but also drive measurable business results.
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and compliance standards are met across all web assets.
- Create custom web and digital assets for online campaigns supporting brand goals.
- Strengthen team culture focused on impact, accountability, and ongoing learning, especially around our brands topics.
- Facilitate collaboration across design, marketing, and technology teams.
- Drive the web creative strategy to deliver high-quality, timely web projects and digital campaigns.
- Participate in cross-department meetings, leveraging multidisciplinary insight to guide decision-making and web initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- 10+ years of professional experience in design, UX/UI, or digital product work, preferably with exposure to legal, medical, or financial brands.
- Demonstrated leadership in web-focused creative strategy, delivering successful outcomes.
- Expertise in Figma and modern prototyping/design tools; advanced understanding of web best practices, accessibility, and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills, especially in complex, content-heavy industries.
- Experience optimizing web experiences using behavioral analytics, conversion rate optimization, and data-driven iteration.
- Proven record maintaining and evolving web design systems and brand guidelines.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience creating branded digital assets for online ads, portals, or campaigns.
- Has a network of freelancers that can be leveraged for contract work.
- Previous work in legal, medical, or financial web environments.
