Title of position: Credit Risk Reporting Manager (SVP or VP)

Position type: Full-time

Pay range: $125,000 - $175,000

The Role

The Credit Risk Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing a team for the coordination and preparation of various credit-driven reports for both administration and relationship managers. Ongoing project management to research, review and analyze data points from both internal and external sources to assist in monitoring credit risk within the commercial loan portfolio.

This position will also manage the ACL process and support the CRA, Baker Hill, and nCino systems as well as have a role in future software implementation and administration.

Job Responsibilities

Essential

  • Effectively manage a small team
  • Coordinate between Credit and Finance on the quarterly ACL preparation
  • Update and compile charts and selective narrative portions of the quarterly ACL Qualitative report
  • Manage ACL audits and validation process
  • Prepare monthly credit risk management report deck to assess KPl's, leading indicators, data management and forward projections to measure risks and/or opportunities in a useful and actionable framework
  • Provide reporting for Credit Committee and Board of Directors
  • CRA WIZ software administrator. Update quarterly CRA reporting in conjunction with the CRA coordinator
  • Update CRE stress testing (quarterly) in conjunction with the CRE credit officer
  • Manage the accuracy of the covenant tickler system
  • Baker Hill Administrator
  • Sageworks/Abrigo Administrator

Supplementary

  • Prepare additional portfolio reports for Credit Administration
  • On an as needed basis, design and develop forms and spreadsheets for Credit Administration
  • Provide input to management on where improvements are needed for Horizon loan system

Core Competencies

  • Strong management skills
  • Computer proficiency and advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Sageworks/Abrigo.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with strong data presentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively and develop relationships with various departments throughout the bank and outside accountants and vendors
  • Strong analytical proficiencies utilizing KPI and variance analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, data management and report writing abilities
  • Working knowledge of the organization's core operating system
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately ensuring all timely deadlines are met
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Capacity to manage and effectively prioritize multiple deliveries simultaneously
  • Basic knowledge of commercial lending, ACL, stress testing and concentration risks

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum of 4+ years relevant financial reporting in business or commercial banking
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
