Crisis Intervention services include telephone, walk in and mobile assessment; counselors provide brief crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referrals to community resources and enact involuntary commitments. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services in Northumberland County.CCR’s mission is connecting people to services. And that’s exactly what you’ll be doing in this role. Scheduling can be flexible. This gives you an opportunity to pick a schedule that best suits your needs/lifestyle. This creates a great work-life balance. We offer (to start) 20 days of PTO a year!The starting pay rate for this position is $21.54/hr . Crisis Counselors can work on call to respond to the community. The On-Call hourly rate is $23.00/hr and we pay a stipend of $300.00 per week when covering on call for one full week.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one year experience in mental health field required.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply.EOE/ADA Benefits:
