Description

Location: 1155 University Ave

Summary: Provide cleaning and maintenance support at the Highbridge Gardens Cornerstone. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Discard

trash daily, replace bags, and wash out garbage bins.

Dust, clean, and disinfect surface areas, including all tables, chairs, and desks

Sweep and mop office and

common areas

Maintain kitchen area, clean microwave, tabletop, and refrigerator

Maintain bathrooms: sweep and mop floors, clean toilets and sinks, wipe down walls, and replace paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap

Assist with repairs such as changing light bulbs, installing shelves, etc.

Ensure the cleanliness of outside grounds (stairs, excess garbage, shoveling,

etc)

Update and replenish cleaning supply inventory as needed

Assist other staff when needed

Other duties as assigned

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a part-time position. Days of work are generally Monday - Friday, 6 pm-10 pm. Some Saturdays between 1 pm-5 pm. 6 pm -11 pm July – August.

Remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.

Use upper extremities to exert force

in order to draw, drag, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion or to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward.

Raise objects from a lower to a higher position or move objects horizontally from position-to- position.

Medium to heavy physical work, exerting from 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.

Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, cleaning solutions, sprays, etc.

Qualifications

Education and/or experience :

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience or training in building trade, moving, maintenance, and performing general repairs.

Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required:

•Ability to handle multiple demands and work well independently or within a team.
