Custodian - Reedy Fork

Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Location: 5955 Summit Ave Brown Summit, NC 27214

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms any area as
• Perform daily and routine and deep cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors, walls, dusts walls and equipment.
• Collect trash outside the manufacturing facility
• Maintain outdoor windows and minor trash as needed
• Maintain a neat and orderly custodian room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
• Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify the supervisor when stock levels are low and require reordering
• Keep records of cleaning schedules, tasks completed, and any incidents or issues that arise.

Education Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• Previous janitor or maintenance experience preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred

Job Requirements/Special Skills:

• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
• Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
• Ability to repeatedly kneel, squat, reach over their head, bend and twist at the waist
