Indiana Printing and Publishing Company, Inc.is hiring for aFull Time Custodian / General Laborer!
Are you a self-motivated individual that cares about cleanliness and order? Do you like to mix your day up? We are looking to hire a full time Custodian / General Laborer to join our team in a manufacturing plant/office setting. The right candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to work independently while cleaning but a team player while working on the production floor. This candidate will ensure that the offices, restrooms, and plant are kept in sanitary shape part of the time. The rest of the time, the candidate will help on the production floor. Responsibilities:
Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping floors, dustingClean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas. Keep grounds on the outside of the building tidy and presentable to our customers and the community. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals. Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time. Ability to twist, bend, push pull, and lift 10 - 35 pounds. Must be a team playerMust be punctualExperience:High School diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work. Ability to work independently and efficiently - self motivator. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks. Frequently lift, push, pull, and slide weight up to 35 pounds. Must be able to pass a background checkHours are 8:00am - 4:00pmPay based on experience $15.00 - $17.00This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a clean and organized environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of all occupants.
