Job Description
St. Francis of Assisi Parish, located on Harford Road in Baltimore has a part-time opening for a Custodial Assistant. The Custodial Assistant helps to perform routine custodial duties for the parish buildings and property. This position is scheduled for Saturdays, 8am to 1pm; 5 weekly hours and non-benefit eligible.
Essential Functions
- Cleans Church, parish office, community spaces, and mission buildings.
- Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors as needed.
- Washes windows, removes dust and debris as needed.
- Removes trash from inside the buildings and from the grounds.
- Performs minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters and bulbs.
Position Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Maryland driver's license with no more than 3 points.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards for use of cleaning equipment and products preferred.
Pay Rate: $15.00, Hourly
