Envera is a legal entity of Lesaffre located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Envera manufactures bacteria solutions for Lesaffre BUs and different market segments such as wastewater treatment, bioremediation, cleaning solutions, and many other areas where bacteria can play a key role.

What you bring to the table
Have the proficiency to oversee the full scope of customer order processing along with shipping and receiving operations. Competence to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of products to customers, while also optimizing logistics. Ability to lead a team of customer service and logistics professionals and deliver a superior customer experience. This includes managing customer orders, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and resolving any customer issues or concerns related to order status and delivery.
A few responsibilities you will have as the Industrial Fermentation Lead Operator
- Manage the end-to-end customer order process, from order receipt to final delivery while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Coordinate and maintain order management system with cross-functional teams (Sales, Production, Fermentation, and Finance) to align supply and demand
- Develop and implement logistic strategies to optimize transportation and distribution
- Analyze customer data and metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on order status, delivery, and logistics-related issues
- Identify and implement technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Create effective knowledge-based customer service documents including training materials, departmental procedures, and responses to customer inquiries.
- Support Production team in maintaining schedule by communicating new orders and priorities of existing orders.
- Aid Quality Assurance in writing Standard Operating Procedures relevant to the department.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
To succeed you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in customer operations or logistics management
- Ability to think strategically and lead a team with knowledge of management methods and techniques.
- Responsible with high ethical standards, organized, and detail oriented.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in using logistics and inventory management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of transportation and distribution best practices
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of customer service and logistics professionals
