The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of AlphaGraphics as well as acting as a trusted advisor to our valued clients. Our company’s success depends on our ability to meet our client’s challenges head-on, then solve them quickly and professionally. This is a full-time position with benefits.About the CompanyAlphaGraphics is the leading provider of Print, Signs, Banners, Design Services, Promotional Products for area businesses, as well as the duplication of Architectural Drawings and Plans for the construction industry. AlphaGraphics has been a staple in the Westford, MA community for over 30 years.Position SummaryThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for evaluating client product needs, selling appropriate solutions, cross-selling the various services and products of the company, and daily administrative tasks. The position requires client relationship management, estimating, and client interaction.Primary Responsibilities:Client ConsultationWork with the existing customer base and walk in customers to determine their print, marketing, and sign needs and recommend appropriate solutions.Assist customers with the printing, scanning and reproduction of architectural/engineering drawings and other copy services requiring short turnarounds.Product EstimationProvide product estimates for clients after consultationCoordinate delivery / production of products with production or outside vendors as appropriateManage client expectations, schedules, and prices as neededPrepare accurate invoices following established process guidelinesAdministrativeUpdate and manage customer account notes and informationManage customer invoicingManage register/cash and paymentsGenerate daily and monthly closeout reportsFulfill shipping orders via UPS and FedExMaintain organization of customer files & digital/physical workspace.CommunicationAs the customer’s advocate, communicate needs within the company to insure excellent customer service and product qualityPromptly advise supervisor of any potential client issues which might require assistance or attentionQualificationsThe ideal candidate is a well-organized customer service professional with experience successfully selling in a business environment. Experience in print, marketing, promotional items, or signs is greatly preferred but not required. The candidate believes in providing top notch customer service and is a self-starter with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to handling client needs and daily challenges.Additional RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience with Microsoft OfficeExperience in sales and customer service within a fast-paced environmentTeam member with collaborative style who knows how to foster success in othersCapable of juggling multiple priorities and operating with a calm sense of urgencyPositive “can do” attitude (this is critical!)Additional Skills and Abilities -- Desired (Advantageous, but not required):College degreeFamiliarity with current print and copy technology (highly desirable)Working knowledge of computer technology and a familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud SuiteExperience in business-to-business, retail, and/or manufacturing settingWorkplace Requirements:Driver’s license and access to vehicleAbility to lift 40 lbs
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
