We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Special Education Transitions Facilitator to join our team! You’ll work directly with high school students (ages 14–22) with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them prepare for a successful transition into adulthood.

What You'll Be Doing as a Transitions Facilitator:
Support students across 3–4 high schools in Wake County
Facilitate learning of topics relating to life skills, independence, and vocational goals
Create lesson materials
Enter data, assist with billing, and support classroom instruction
What You’ll Bring:
Associates Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Rehabilitation or a related human services field preferred.
Experience working with students with developmental disabilities. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid NC Driver’s License and a clean driving record
Ability to travel between schools throughout the county
Pass a background check and drug screening
Comfortable lifting 10–25 lbs and spending time both sitting and standing
Must be able to handle sitting and standing for extended periods of time
Compensation
$19.00 per hour
