Job Summary: The Catalyst for Football Performance
The D1 Football Sports Performance Coach is dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members, with a specific focus on Scholastic (ages 7-18) and Collegiate football athletes and teams. This role requires applying specialized knowledge to enhance the speed, strength, and overall athleticism of football players.
A D1 Coach must be dedicated to:
  • Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service.
  • Implementing and instilling the D1 training philosophy into every workout, with a specialized understanding of football-specific movements.
  • Assessing and aligning each athlete with the proper program based on their position, experience, and goals.
  • Taking a personal stake in the lives of our athletes, maintaining regular contact and monitoring their individual progress toward their goals.
Responsibilities: Coaching, Training, and Accountability
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes, especially within the context of team training.
  • Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
  • Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand, tailoring programs to address the needs of various football positions (e.g., linemen vs. skill players).
  • Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper form, technique, and movement patterns critical for the sport of football.
  • Coach group workouts, specialized personal training sessions, and dedicated football team training.
  • Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition tailored for peak football performance.
  • Starting and finishing workouts on time.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member.
Qualifications and Requirements

Compensation: $18.75 - $25.00 per hour
