Job Description
Rapid Industries is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Panel Shop Technician to oversee and execute the fabrication, assembly, and wiring of electrical control panels.
In this hands-on role you will be responsible for reading schematics, managing build schedules, ensuring quality control, maintaining a clean/organized shop environment, preassemble components on our conveyors, and assisting other departments as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a detail-oriented mindset, great time management, constant communication with our team, and the ability to lead by example in a production-driven environment.
Job Duties Include:

Job Duties Include:
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Assemble and wire industrial control panels in accordance with industry standards. (e.g., UL508A)
- Ensuring project timelines are met.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure panels meet safety and design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Maintain stock of necessary panel components, labels, and wires.
- Manage project shelf separation per project.
- Pre-mount components onto conveyor assemblies prior to shipping when required by project as needed.
