Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as a Driver / Counter Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for a combination of driving duties and assisting customers at the counter. Experience in the landscape/irrigation industry and sales experience is a plus. Comfortable with speaking and being in front of vendors, contractors, meeting in office and on jobsites.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles for the delivery and pickup of equipment to various locations.
- Assist customers at the counter by providing product information, processing transactions, and addressing inquiries.
- Load and unload equipment onto company vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and showroom areas.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet delivery schedules.
- Provide support to other departments as needed, including inventory management and stocking shelves.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of lawn and landscape equipment is a plus.
- Flexibility to work half days on Saturdays during the busy season.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
