Job Description
CDL-A Local Drivers: Home Daily! $2500 Sign-On Bonus - Gordonsville, VA!
Drive for a dedicated account delivering grocery freight and enjoy consistent home time with 48-hour resets! We value our drivers and offer a competitive pay package.
Here's what you can expect:
Home Daily: Enjoy the comfort of being home every night with consistent local routes.
Competitive Pay: Average $1300-$1500. 0.63/mile based on experience.
Consistent Schedule: Work 5 days on, 2 days off (weekends required, no weekend-off schedules currently).
Stop Pay: $20 per stop.
Consistent Freight: Drive a mix of dry and refrigerated, no-touch, live unload grocery freight in VA, NC, MD, PA, and WV.
1600-1700 Miles/Week: Expect to run approximately 1600-1700 miles per week, often requiring 2 routes per day.
Reliable Support: Benefit from 24/7 operations staff and shop support.
Slip-Seat Operation: Drive newer model day cabs as part of our slip-seat program.
Important Requirements:
Own Transportation: Must have personal transportation to and from the distribution center daily.
Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends.
Schedule Flexibility: Afternoon, night, weekend, and holiday availability based on your schedule.
Qualifications:
3 or more months tractor and trailer experience needed
Valid CDL Class A license and Medical Card
Hair drug test
