Location and Schedule
This role will report to Denver International Airport Jeppesen Terminal East side. Employee Parking will be provided.
Friday- Monday
9:00am- 7:30pm MST
Furlough Days
The City and County of Denver has announced furlough days, or unpaid days off, for most employees to meet a budget shortfall in 2025. There are two fixed furlough days for all limited (temporary positions with an end date) and unlimited (permanent) employees on August 29th, the Saturday before Labor Day, and November 28th, the day after Thanksgiving. If you receive an offer for this position, your annual pay will determine whether you are required to take additional furlough days. Details will be discussed during the offer process for selected candidate(s).
What You'll Do
The supervisor oversees a Landside I team responsible for Lost and Found and parking services at the airport. This role collaborates with a co-supervisor to manage staffing, develop work plans, and ensure operational efficiency. Duties include coordinating with TSA and contracted service providers, preparing revenue reports, maintaining inventory systems, and managing lost item requisitions. The supervisor also handles software-related issues, conducts hiring and training, addresses employee performance and discipline, and represents the team during airport emergencies.
Responsibilities and duties of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervises Landside I staff in delivering Lost and Found and parking services to airport passengers, employees, and the public.
Serves as the primary liaison with TSA and contracted vendors for lost item coordination and attends regular operational meetings.
Prepares monthly revenue reports for unclaimed items and oversees cash deposit collections to the finance department.
Manage inventory systems for lost items, including tracking, requisition, and transfers to General Services.
Troubleshoots Lost and Found software issues (e.g., Sprinklr) and coordinates necessary repairs with vendors.
Provides employee performance evaluations, coaching, disciplinary documentation, and recognition.
Adjusts staffing and operations based on directives from Denver International Airport and the City and County of Denver leadership.

Demonstrated ability to manage employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and document disciplinary actions.
Comfortable adapting plans and operations in response to organizational directives or changing airport conditions.
Ability to develop staff schedules, assign work strategically, and ensure appropriate coverage during peak operations.
Strong working knowledge of inventory management systems and Lost and Found operations, including software such as Sprinklr, and Lost and Found Software.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive, team-oriented work culture.
Required Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Three (3) years experience of the type and at the level of a Landside Customer Service Agent II.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
This job requires driving. Requires valid Driver's License at the time of application. By position, required to obtain a Special Police Officer certification from the Executive Director of Safety's Office. This certification is required in accordance with the City Charter and the Denver Revised Municipal Code. Failure to obtain the certification will result in withdrawal of the offer of the position or end probation status. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
FBI Background Check
FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
Shift Work/Emergency Duties
Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If staffing challenges arise, weather conditions warrant, or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees will be required to work extended hours and/or alternative shifts (includes nights, weekends, and holidays).
