Job Description

  • Assist the Sr. Manager – Corporate Compliance, Director of Corporate Compliance, and/or VP & General Counsel with the
  • Design, implementation, administration and oversight of the AECC and AECI’s Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Review, administration, and maintenance of Corporate Board Policies, and related Management Guidelines, including coordinate with external divisions on update and communication thereof.
  • Management of AECC and AECI’s Code of Ethics reporting processes.
  • Assisting with and managing corporate entity formations, amendments, and dissolutions as directed, including the maintenance of any licensing requirements, and maintenance of subsidiary governance, as directed.
  • Responsible for management of regulatory requirements associated with Cooperative activities under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
  • Assisting, as needed, with agreements associated with solar projects, including state tax abatement requests, and coordination with Finance & Administration on payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT) agreement administration.
  • Supports the Sr. Manager – Corporate Compliance, Director of Corporate Compliance, and VP & General Counsel, and and other Legal Division attorneys with production of records and data from various compliance and regulatory bodies or in response to litigation.
  • Analyzes and maintains familiarity with rules, regulations, and current developments associated with the AECC and AECI’s compliance obligations, excepting environmental compliance.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
  • Performs any other related duties required or assigned.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related, technical-related, or education/training-related field, plus at minimum 8 years’ total related experience including at least 3 years’ management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Graduate degree (JD, MBA, MA, etc.), Project Management Professional (PMP), or related specialty designation(s).
