Job Description
Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team located in Molalla, Oregon.
In this role, you will maintain manufacturing equipment and the facility to maximize uptime at the least cost to production related goals.

What's attractive about the Maintenance Technician?
- Hours & Pay w/ overtime potential:
- 11:30 am to 8:00 pm (Monday to Friday) - $28-$35 per hour plus a 12% shift differential
- Position Location: Molalla, OR
What Success Looks Like:
- Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial production equipment.
- Make purchasing decisions and maintain parts inventory.
- Work with vendors and service suppliers regarding service, parts, and supplies.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls.
- Respond to operator calls and communicate equipment status to operators and leadership.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical ability and electrical systems knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, team player, approachability, and eagerness to learn.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, tooling, and woodworking equipment.
