Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Structural Designer in our New Haven, CT, office.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer
- Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction
- Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks
- Occasional field site visits
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering required
- EIT Certification preferred
- Up to two years of experience
- MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience preferred
- Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements
- Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environments
