POSITION SUMMARY

2nd Shift 12:00-8:30

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for inventory storage and movements within and between the assigned inventory locations as well as packaging, shipping and receiving from the assigned location. Tasks performed by this role will ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions, proper storage and handling of assigned materials, safe and efficient operation of day-to-day warehouse activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Receive and process incoming parts ensuring proper inspection and labeling compliance
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in designated stockroom storage locations
  • Pick, pack and issue material orders to fulfill internal distribution SLA’s
  • Deliver material to replenish kanban bins in production
  • Track all inventory, receiving, and shipping transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database
  • Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits as required
  • Follow proper handling procedures for sterile and non-sterile products
  • Collaborate with quality to quarantine, move, and transact material as required
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area in accordance with safety standards
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA, and other applicable regulations
  • Perform other TransMedics task and duties as required

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

This position manages the following positions on a daily basis.

  • This position will not have management responsibilities.

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Physical capabilities associated with packing, wrapping, and shipping pallets. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS                                                         

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a Stockroom/Warehouse, or equivalent combination of education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with ERP and WMS software
  • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures with limited supervision
  • Basic understanding of medical device handling and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) preferred.
