Finance Manager
Prosperity Partners (“Prosperity”) is a Chicago-headquartered public accounting firm offering best-in-class tax, accounting, and personal finance services to dynamic businesses, high net-worth individuals, and family offices. With offices throughout the United States, we are seeking an ambitious and hands-on finance leader to build Prosperity Partners’ finance function. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, exceptional leadership qualities and at least five years' experience in a finance or internal operations role.
As our Finance Manager, the candidate will drive financial planning, partner with leadership and partner offices on strategic decisions, and lay the foundation for a high-performing finance organization. The candidate will work directly with the leadership team to guide Prosperity Partners through our next phase of growth.
Specific duties include:
- Build and maintain our operating model, annual plan, and rolling forecasts;
- Own revenue modeling, margin analysis, client analysis, and budget management across departments and offices;
- Implement processes that are scalable, efficient, and accurate. Ensure we’re tracking the right data, at the right time, to guide the business;
- Keep teams accountable to targets while enabling fast, informed decision-making;
- Support board presentations with accurate forecasts and clear financial storytelling;
- Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor performance and identify opportunities to accelerate growth;
- Provide financial ownership and support for the company’s CRM;
- Drive adoption of Hubspot across practice leaders;
- Use Hubspot to unlock insights and opportunities in our client base and in in the market.
We accept resumes consistent with the following background and ability:
- 5-10 years in a finance or internal operations role, ideally at a high-growth PE-backed company or professional services company;
- Deep experience in building financial models, forecasts and dashboards that support decision-making;
- Confident in ambiguity and excited to build and shape a corporate finance function;
- High attention to detail, a sense of urgency and willingness to get into the weeds;
- High ownership mentality — you bring proactive, scrappy solutions and drive things forward without waiting for perfect structure;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can articulate complex financial data clearly and concisely, and tell a compelling story with numbers;
- Positive attitude and a strong cross-functional relationship-builder across offices;
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities and deadlines;
- Excited to work 3 days a week from our Chicago office;
- Comfortable managing Hubspot CRM with practice leaders;
- Familiarity with and desire to learn Sage Intacct, Hubspot, PowerBI.
