Program Summary

KBR's Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army's Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. This position is contingent upon contract award

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of U.S. Army positions related to the transfer of military and dual-use technologies to foreign countries.
  • Staff technology transfer requests, as appropriate, with Army organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with the United States' and the Department of Defense's export control policies.
  • Apply working knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulation (EAR).
  • Utilize knowledge of the DoD's Technology Security/Foreign Disclosure process and manage exceptions to the National Disclosure Policy.
  • Navigate the requirements of international export control regimes to which the United States is a signatory.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field (an additional 10 years may be substituted in lieu of degree)
  • 6 years of experience in a related field
  • Active Secret clearance, eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of the United States' and the Department of Defense's export control policies.
  • Working knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulation (EAR).
  • Familiarity with the DoD's Technology Security/Foreign Disclosure process and how to process exceptions to the National Disclosure Policy.
  • Understanding of the requirements of international export control regimes to which the United States is a signatory.
