Job Description:
This position supports PriMed Senior Management and the Hill Physicians' leadership in the recruitment, compensation development and management of the Hill Physicians' provider network.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with cross-departmental company resources to research and analyze information that supports or helps form appropriate provider reimbursement strategies and actions.
- Participates in a variety of cross-functional teams to support organization initiatives related to development and maintenance of the physician network.
- Extracts data, provides analysis and interpretation; summarizes findings. Reports and presents results using available or developed tools. Develops new methods for presentation of data. Clearly and thoroughly documents all steps.
- Manages cross-regional large scale projects, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring that business objectives are met. Ensures consistency throughout regions as appropriate.
- Manages simple to complex projects regarding compensation, clinical or utilization management, etc.
- Performs analysis and quality control of compensation data prior to the distribution of performance payments for PCPs and specialists.
NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consults with relevant departments on ongoing development of all provider profiles and compensation.
- Participates in cross-functional teams in the implementation and communication of provider rate changes.
- Develops metrics and dashboard reports related to the provider network that help the regional offices and medical leadership to form membership recommendations as appropriate.
- Acts as liaison between physician leadership and PriMed / Hill management and staff.
- Presents, verbally and in writing, analysis and recommendations to internal and external audiences.
- Organizes internal and external meetings for department members.
- Performs other duties as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- BA/BS degree desired or equivalent work experience in a managed care, clinical practice and/or healthcare environment.
- Three to five years of related experience.
- Substantial experience with data and trend analysis, statistical reporting, application design and development.
- Ability to understand and analyze complex data sets.
- Demonstrated project management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Must be able to contribute to cross-functional work groups both as leader and participant.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with routine applications software and Internet resources (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel to and participate in business meetings outside of normal business hours.
Additional Information:
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 Annual
