Saltmarsh is looking for a dynamic and experienced Tax Supervisor to join our team! The Tax Supervisor will oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, provide guidance to junior staff, and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. What You’ll Do
As a Tax Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in tax planning and strategy development for clients.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively to address their tax-related concerns.
- Participate in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
