Job Summary:
We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a Community Support Specialist, you'll empower individuals and families to build strong foundations for long-term wellbeing and independence. You'll use evidence-based techniques and collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive mental health services.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide community-based mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation
    • Collaborate with clients, families, and stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Utilize a strengths-based approach, incorporating evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing and CBT
    • Provide behavioral interventions and coordinate care with other service providers
    • Maintain accurate records and participate in staff development activities
       
      Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
      There are several ways in which you may qualify for this position including: Education, certification, or experience. Please scroll down carefully for more information:
      • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
      • OR an Associate's degree in Behavioral Health Support
      • OR four years of qualifying experience, including delivery of services to individuals with mental health disorders or substance use disorders
         
        Additional Qualifications:
        • Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company-owned vehicle
        • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
        • Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively
        • Strong organizational and time management skills
           
          Physical Requirements:
          • Sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
          • Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing
          • Sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing
