Job Description
Model Based Software Engineer - DC-DC
The Role:
· Develop the vehicle charging software using model-based approach according to system level requirements.
· Experienced in the full SDLC from the requirement gathering, documentation, architecture design, software implementation and unit test.
· Perform the vehicle charging test for software release, regression test and interoperability test.
· Interact with different EVSE manufacture and charging network operators for troubleshooting interoperable issues.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree with major in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering or a related technical field is required. Master's degree or higher education is preferred.
· 2 years or more of experience in software engineering related to vehicle charging.
· Work experience using MATLAB Simulink for code generation, state flow, model adviser, code guidelines, and test harness.
· Strong working knowledge of vehicle charging systems and charging standards, such as J1772 and ISO 15118.
· Experience in PLC communication protocols by using sniffers for debugging and troubleshooting.
· Experience in testing with different EVSEs, DCFCs manufactured for the global markets, including North America, Europe, and China. Be comfortable to travel to support the vehicle testing.
· Strong understanding of the vehicle system architecture and system level interaction between different ECUs on electrical vehicles.
· Experience in configuring the BSWs using AUTOSAR configuration tools, such as Vector, EB.
· Experience in developing software for vehicle diagnostics, such as DIDs, DTCs and UDS routines.
· Experience in using automotive development and debugging tools, such as Vector CANape, CANalyzer, CAN/Ethernet sniffing tools.
· Keen to the details and be able to make detailed test plan and conduct the interoperability test.
· Proficiency with Jama, Jira/Confluence.
· Knowledge of high voltage safety and product safety concepts.
· Good organizational skills.
