Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Keystone Clearwater Solutions - Full-Time | Oil & Gas Industry |Yard & Field-Based Role with Travel

About Us:

Keystone Clearwater Solutions is a leading provider of water transfer services in the oil & gas industry. We support field operations across various job sites, offering reliable solutions and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and growth.

The Role:

As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you'll inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered equipment and related systems in the field and at shop locations. This independent, field-based role supports critical maintenance and emergency response needs across our service region, with regular travel and after-hours on-call rotation required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and emission controls
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance in the field
  • Troubleshoot pump end issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Safely operate hand tools, lifting equipment, and diagnostic devices
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate equipment status to management
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed in all service environments
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation to support after-hours repair needs
  • Travel to customer or job sites as required (approx. 50%)
  • Perform other duties as needed in support of equipment uptime and reliability

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience or equivalent training
  • Experience with Tier 4 engine repairs preferred
  • Advanced mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic knowledge
  • Familiarity with DC circuits and engine diagnostic tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL Class A or B preferred
  • DOT medical card preferred
  • Strong organizational, safety-first mindset and commitment to reliability

Schedule:

Full-Time | Field-Based Role | ~50% Travel Required

Outdoor and shop-based work in all weather conditions

May include overtime, weekend shifts, and after-hours support
