Mains’l is seeking experienced Direst Support Professionals who are interested in growing into Support Coordinators. As the Support Coordinator, you will collaborate with the Program Manager and DSP Team to achieve goals of the people supported while providing person-centered care.  The Support Coordinator will be a role model of how direct support is provided while leading and mentoring the Direct Support Professionals.

Location:  Chaska, MN

Shift:  (40 Hours)
  • Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri 2-10:30pm,
  • Every other Sat/Sun 4:30-10:30pm

Wage: $ 18.50/HR

Job Responsibilities
  • Meal planning and grocery shopping
  • Budgeting and managing household bills
  • Assisting with scheduling, coaching, and training of Direct Support Professionals
  • Scheduling and accompanying individuals to medical appointments
  • Coaching and collaboration with the team
  • Provide supports tailored to the individual’s need (this may include Activities of Daily Living, responding to behavioral situations, coaching through different situations, participation in home and community activities, etc.)
  • Managing and administering medications
  • Documenting care accurately to ensure ongoing support
  • Maintain a safe and structured environment

Requirements
  • 1+ Years of DSP or Related Experience
  • 1 year of Leadership Experience (preferred)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid MN driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance
  • Ability to pass a DHS Background Check
