Summary:

The Service Manager directly manages our customer facing service team. Serves as Team leader responsible for the operations and production of the branch’s service department from point of sale through implementation and customer retention. Sets service level expectations and requirements and strategizes how to meet or exceed standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages our customer facing service team.  
  • Hiring and performance management.  
  • Managing the overall performance of a team.
  • Providing leadership by fostering a safe working environment. 
  • Successful resolution of customer related issues.
  • Performing goodwill of customers at the customer site while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Achieving sales, profit, inventory and payroll goals.
  • Managing a budget and dealing with operational issues that affect service.  
  • Hands-on support of direct reports includes accompanying our service representatives or visiting customers when necessary.
  • To assist in the pick-up and delivery of products or services
  • Driving a company-owned vehicle to and from customer locations, lifting, carrying and walking products in and out of customer accounts while maintaining world-class service and goodwill to customers.
  • Performing managerial duties.

Requirements: 

  • Valid driver's license 
  • High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred 
  • customer service experience recommended 
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience
