Central Processing Technician - Park City Surgery Center

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends, Holidays, or Call

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Central Processing Technician to join our high-performing team at a busy Orthopedic Surgery Center with 4 operating rooms. Our center delivers outstanding patient care in partnership with The Orthopedic Partners, Intermountain Health, and Surgery Partners.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring safe, sterile, and efficient surgical operations across all specialties. If you're passionate about patient safety, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and want a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call-this is the opportunity for you!

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday (No weekends, holidays, or call)
• Rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
• Maintain documentation in accordance with AAMI and AORN standards
• Ensure accurate and timely instrument turnover for scheduled surgeries
• Maintain appropriate inventory and notify leadership of any supply or equipment concerns
• Communicate effectively with OR staff to meet surgical demands

Qualifications:

• Certification (CRCST or equivalent) required
• Previous sterile processing experience, ideally in an orthopedic or ambulatory surgery setting
• Strong working knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention standards
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
