The Data Entry Compliance Specialist will manage customer relationships regarding test and inspection compliance for life safety systems. They ensure all products, activities, documentation, and policies comply with industry, provincial and territorial, and federal regulations.

Pay Range: $18/hr-$20/hr

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Assists customers with access and comprehension of online test and inspection reports.
  • Monitors online test and inspection reports daily for deficiencies/impairments and for quality and accuracy.
  • Ensures customers and authorities are notified of test and inspection deficiencies in accordance with Pye-Barker’s standards and applicable laws.
  • Creates and delivers deficiency service and repair quotes to customers promptly.
  • Tracks status of quotes daily and follows up with quoted customers to ensure they maintain compliance.
  • Prepares service orders and works with Service Coordinator to schedule deficiency repairs.
  • Builds strong customer relationships, loyalty, and retention.
  • Maintains a professional image that reflects the core values of Pye-Barker Fire & Safety.
  • Ensures and safeguards a World Class Service customer experience.
  • Other duties as defined by manager.

Education/Qualification:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ingrained sense of urgency.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience.
  • Experience in prospecting, quoting, negotiating, and closing preferred.
  • Associate degree in business or related field recommended.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or related field.

Other Duties:

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.
