Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Director of Corporate Accounts will be responsible for the national account sales of the Cold Chain/Healthcare division. They will oversee the design, structure, deployment and continuous maintenance of the sales organization.Job Responsibilities:
● Directs the development and implementation of the annual Sales Operating Plans.● Ensure achievement of volume/margin objectives for Corporate Account customers and recommend improvement strategies when available.
● Lead and engage with key strategic customers and key suppliers on joint pipeline management and growth.
● Own customer relationship building, and issue resolution by leveraging Veritiv common selling processes, resources for maximum efficiency/consistency across the organization (working closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing and Margin Management teams.)
● Lead and manage the Corporate Accounts Team including hiring, coaching and development of direct reports.
● Work with VP of Corporate Accounts to set strategy, determine target vertical opportunities, and develop overall sales goals/quotas.
● Deliver the budget measures across all business channels and segments.
● Guide implementation of business processes that align the resources of all functional departments to create market advantage and customer value.
● Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
● Manage business unit revenue is $1.0 to $1.8 billion annually.
Work Experience:
● 5-10 years of related job experience.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges.● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.● Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:
