Job Description
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, responsible for setting up and controlling plating equipment, processing parts and products through automatic plating lines for all nickel and copper parts. Processes parts and products through manual cleaning lines, as well as heat treat oven cycles.
Reporting to:
Department Manager/Supervisor
Essential Job Functions:
- Review work orders to ensure familiarization with job requirements.
- Rack and un-rack parts as required for the plating process.
- Load and unload panels.
- Inspect parts continuously to ensure that plating process is performed in a manner consistent with company standards of quantity and quality. Notifies supervisor and appropriate team members of all related problems.
- Monitor plating solution levels and temperatures continuously to maintain proper plating results.
- Conduct various tests of plating solutions.
- Assist in performing routine maintenance on the plating system and equipment, including adding chemicals, changing filters, maintaining racks, etc.
- Operates all equipment in a safe manner always following all approved safety procedure.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 30lbs.
- Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
- Electroplating experience preferred

Salary Range:
$18.00 -$21.00/Hour, Depending on Experience. Candidates with specific electroplating, electroforming or electrodeposition manufacturing experience will be considered for higher pay scale and/or more rapid advancement.
