John Mulhall came to Omaha in 1953 to landscape, and now, three generations later, we’re as committed as we’ve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. Today, we’re a team of a few hundred people, but our focus remains the same: working together to engage our community and share our passion for the beauty of the natural world. A DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Greenhouse Lead, Container Design, you’ll report to our Greenhouse Manager and help manage the daily tasks, projects, and processes that keep the Container Design department functioning at its best. You’ll be the go-to person for our Made-to-Order and Moss Basket programs, collaborating with customers to design custom arrangements, processing orders, and supporting walk-in requests with potting and re-potting. Behind the scenes, you’ll work with the Greenhouse Manager and production teams to keep everything running on time and on schedule – all in line with our vision to be the most loved plant shop in the country.
YOUR IMPACT
o Model our three-step, Every Experience Counts process: Introduce Yourself, “Let Me Take Care of That,” and Keep It Seamless
o Be the go-to person and the champion of training, follow-up, and delegation of tasks for the whole Greenhouse and your focus area
o Manage the Made-to-Order program, collaborating with customers to identify, select, and create planters and arrangements based on a menu curated in close partnership with our Merchandising + Pro Sales team
o Manage the Moss Basket program by assisting customers with selection, reservation, pickup and delivery of moss baskets, and maintaining a seamless customer experience from start to finish
o Partner with the Greenhouse Manager to review the Made-to-Order and Moss Basket Smarsheets weekly to maximize transparency, remove obstacles, drive accountability, and celebrate wins
